I started another book, this one, a biography of Sidney Crosby. It came out during his second season of professional hockey. When a hockey scout is scouting players his job is not to be fooled, not exactly to be impressed. This is because when a scout finds a player that impresses them at the level they currently are playing at, they could end up as a player that never lives up to expectations. When a scout for the San Jose Sharks saw Crosby playing in Canada these rules did not apply. Crosby was one of the exceptions. As a 15 year old he had made the
Canadian under 18 team. Not only that but he also was on the first line. In the first game of a tournament he scored a goal in regulation and also scored the winning goal in a shootout.
