On the way home the dog had made a klutzy move and his friend had jokingly called her grace. They took her home and when she met the other dogs at home they weren't too sure about her. He locked her into the storage room and left for work. Later when he arrived home he saw his roommate and 2 policemen in the house. He asked what had happened and they said that a burglar had locked himself in the room with all of their important possessions. He couldn't imagine this. The policemen had been yelling in at what they thought was a burglar and finally decided to break in. When they did they saw the little puppy with things tossed about. The guy hadn't told his roommate about the new puppy and had forgotten about it and didn't think that a thing like this could happen. Once again the puppy had made a klutzy move so when the policemen asked what her name was, he responded with, "Gracie". He had remembered what his friend from work had said about her and thought it was a good name
